I finally finished I’d Know You Anywhere by Laura Lippman. In spoiler-free terms, I’d know this plot anywhere. It wasn’t BAD… it just didn’t live up to my expectations. I expect my thrillers to be thrilling, and most of the “thrill” part was in the past in this novel. In fact, even the end didn’t “thrill” me.
Lippman writes pretty good suspense/thrillers, but I’m not crazy about this one. If you’re looking for “edge of your seat”, this isn’t it.
